Trinity Outreach

We are committed to sharing our resources with others in need within our communities of Wauwatosa and Milwaukee and also to those around the world. Trinity works hard to share both our time and our resources.

Awesome Auction

The Outreach Committee’s biggest fundraiser of the year is the Awesome Auction for Outreach. Mark your calendars for Nov. 2, 2024, from 6:30-9 p.m. This year we are celebrating 25 years of the Auction! Learn more at trinitywauwatosa.org/auction

The Haiti Project

We are proud to share The Haiti Project of the Diocese of Milwaukee’s response in support of them and our brothers and sisters around the world. You can learn more about this diocesan ministry here.

SCRIP

SCRIP is fundraising while you shop. You buy a retail card through Trinity’s Scrip program at face value for national and local retail stores where you already shop. Trinity Outreach Committee buys the cards at 1-13% less than face value (the percentage varies by retailer). The difference between the face value and what Trinity pays = the funds raised for Outreach! Complete this order form today to order and return to Trinity.

Trinity Christian Mission Centre

Paul Mutuku founded the Trinity Christian Ministry Centre in Machakos, Kenya, building a simple structure where the faithful could gather. This was undertaken by the new church community in part with funds sent by Trinity Episcopal Church’s outreach committee.

Additional opportunities

Many of our parishioners volunteer time and give financial support to outside groups such as:

Support for Our Next Generation/Homework Club is provided through mentors and tutors who assist inner-city children with homework and help children to establish goals and see them through to successful completion.

Several of our members partner with Interfaith to provide support often needed by elderly person still living in their own home.

We are also involved in outreach through the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee, most notably The Haiti Project, Collars on the CornerSojourner Family Peace Center  and The Hospitality Center

Episcopal Relief and Development is an international relief and development agency and a compassionate response to human suffering on behalf of The Episcopal Church.
